Although the Bob Double Stroller is by quite a long shot the most expensive double stroller reviewed on this site at over $650 in most retail outlets, it has managed to achieve a spectacular average rating of nearly 4 1/2 stars out of 5 on Amazon, which is brilliant enough without considering its price, but indeed all the more excellent considering that it is over double what most other double jogging strollers are usually sold for nowadays. So just what exactly makes the Bob Revolution Duallie so worth the extra money in the eyes of its current owners? Well, there are a number of things, ranging from big to small, so I will just get started with the positive points. These are things that I have noticed while testing the Bob Revolution Duallie out myself, and things which I and other reviewers agree on.

First of all the extra padding in the seats and even in the safety harnesses works wonders for the child’s comfort while riding. The canopies are by far the largest I have personally seen in any double jogging stroller on the market, and will be sure to protect your child against the worst of the weather. Possibly the greatest achievement of the Bob Double Stroller is not the padding or canopies, however; it is in fact the sheer smoothness of the ride. The effortlessness with which the Bob Revolution Duallie glides along the ground really makes you FEEL that you are pushing a 600 dollar stroller, it is THAT good. While I have reviewed and tested many of the best double strollers for this site, many quite excellent double strollers considering their prices e.g. $250, $300 or so, there is nothing quite like the Bob Revolution Duallie, honestly. If you are cash strapped, of course go for the less expensive strollers, there are plenty of good ones that do the job, but if you have the extra money, then the Bob Double Stroller is definitely worth it. The one-of-a-kind suspension system just lets you roll over difficult terrain with no problems, and any slight bumps that you have are quite pleasant for the child instead of a source of discomfort as can be the case with some of the lesser strollers out there. The wheels in the newest edition of the Bob Revolution Duallie are made of heavy duty plastic instead of metal which is, admittedly, stronger however the metal is more prone to bending and is considerably heavier. Also included are air valves so that you can pump up the wheels if you sense they’ve become a bit flat – something quite basic but you would be surprised at the number of joggers that don’t allow this and hence their wheels simply flatten over time and you have to replace them. When you’re strolling, you can either let the wheel lock frontwards, more suitable for high speed strolling, jogging or downhill, or you can unlock it to let it swivel free, more suitable in slower, more intricate turnings or busy areas. I’ve noticed that a lot of Bob Double Stroller reviews are comparing the Bob Revolution Duallie with the older edition, a stroller that I was unfortunate not to have tested out myself, but from the reviews I’m reading it seems that Bob has done an admirable job of correcting the less than perfect aspects of the previous edition and now, and I say this with no exaggeration, the Bob Revolution Duallie is bordering on double jogging stroller perfection.
